The School of Clinical Sciences offers ten scholarships to students on the MSc Clinical Management of Pain (Online Distance Learning) programme in the 2016-2017 academic session.
AwardEach scholarship provides a one-off payment of £600 towards tuition fees.
Eligibility
Applicants must be intending to study the MSc Clinical Management of Pain (Online Distance Learning) in 2016-2017. Applicants intending to study the PGCert or PGDip element of this programme are eligible to apply.Applicants currently studying this programme in 2016-2017 are also eligible to apply if they intend to continue on this programme in 2016-2017.
Applying
Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship applicationAll applications must be submitted no later than 30th June 2016.
Please note you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh and have full EASE authentication.
In addition to the standard questions on the application, applicants should also provide the following information within their application:
- Explain how your attainment of this degree will benefit your career (300 words)
- Explain how your attainment of this degree will benefit the service you work in (300 words)
- What is it about this programme that makes you want to study with the University of Edinburgh? (250 words)
- Each of the statements will be scored by three assessors, and applications with the highest score overall will be in contention. Where it is not possible to discern between high-quality applications, priority will be given to:
- Those who are in their first 10 years post-qualifying as a healthcare professional
- Those who have not previously received scholarships funds from the University of Edinburgh Clinical Management of Pain Programme
