Apply For Westminster International Scholarships for Postgraduate Students to Study in UK

The University of Westminster is pleased to announce the 2016 Westminster International Postgraduate Scholarships, this scholarship are fully funded, and also partial funded, generous awards aimed at students from developing countries who wish to study full-time graduate degrees. 

Scholarships are awarded every year for both September and January intakes.

The University of Westminster is a public research university located in London, United Kingdom. Its antecedent institution, the Royal Polytechnic, was founded in 1838 and was the first polytechnic to open in the UK.

Eligibility
You must be an international student from a developing country and already hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree at University of Westminster.

Please note that all scholarship applications are open to new students only. If you are a current student at the University of Westminster, unfortunately, you are not eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria:
The main criteria are academic excellence, development potential, and financial need.

Particular preference will be given to you if you can demonstrate how the knowledge you acquire from your studies will aid the development of your own country.

All fields or courses of study available at the University.

Method of Application
Note that you may apply to these Scholarships if you have applied for admission and have successfully been offered a place (conditional or unconditional) on the course you wish to study. Please do not apply if you have not been admitted to a programme offered at the University of Westminster. You must have been offered a place (conditional or unconditional) on a course at the University before you can apply for this scholarship.

DEADLINES:
Please pay close attention to the application deadlines. There are two deadlines each year.


The closing date to submit applications is 5pm GMT on 3rd May 2016 (for September 2016 intake) AND 5pm GMT on 14th October 2016 (for January 2017 intake).

PLEASE NOTE:
Your application must be typed, not handwritten.

International undergraduate and postgraduate students can only apply for two different types of scholarship – please do not tick more than two boxes on the application form.

Spend time on your application. You are in competition with some of the strongest students in the world so spend as much time as necessary creating a polished, professional and persuasive application.
