University of Lugano Masters Scholarship In Switzerland
The foundation of the Lugano facilities annually awards 60 scholarships to study a master’s program.The aim is to enable potential learners with financial problems to graduate with good career guidance and become potential in the working places.

Starting September 2016, the merit based grants will be given to legible students and admitted to the first year of the USI master’s program.
University of Lugano merit to determine the qualifiers is based on the results of the bachelor’s degree academic program. Apply now for the available grants to study a cheap session.
Course level: available for the master’s program
Study subjects- whoever is legible and qualified to study master’s program in communications and information sciences.
Scholarship award-The 60 grants each amounting to CHF 4’000 will be assigned to students who pursued a bachelor’s degree in the following countries:
Swiss university- 20 grants will be considered to students who have pursued a Bachelor’s degree at any Swiss university;
Italian university- 20 grants to students that pursued a Bachelor’s degree at an Italian university;
Other countries- 20 grants to students that pursued a Bachelor’s degree at a university from other countries.
Scholarship will be taken at: university of Lugano, Switzerland.
Eligibility and the conditions for participation and award of the grants.
Students from any nationality can apply.
To apply you must have must have obtained the Bachelor’s degree with all passed examinations and thesis defense by 31st July 2016 with at least 80/100 cumulative grade point average.
Applicants must have been admitted and enrolled to the first year of a USI Master program beginning in September 2016.
Your Applications will not be considered if you are enrolled in a USI Master before September 1st, 2016.
The university admission Requirements
Just like any other institution, university of Lugano requires Supporting Materials to affirm the student details in need of a grant during application and on admission. This may include;
Attachment of appropriate academic certificates (certified) – diploma and/or degree and other relevant.
Photocopies of passports, Curriculum vitae, Identification card and other documents.
The residence permit for foreigners.
A completed application form.
Official certification of proficiency in English or Italian languages.
A Certified translation of any diploma written in a language other than Italian, German, English, Spanish or French.
Students should be able to speak, write, read, or translate the English language or Italian language as most some lessons may be language dependent.

Online application sent via e‐mail to: studygrants@usi.ch before the deadline for the submission which is July 31st, 2016. Note that any Incomplete or late applications will not considered.
All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their requests before August 19th, 2016.
Successful applicants should note the following conditions which will be taken into consideration before and after issuance of the grants.
Conditions for the payment of the grant.
· The grant however is not awarded directly into students accounts. It gathers for the tution fee whereby there is a form of reduction of the tuition fee and cannot be exchanged for cash. At no circumstance will a student be awarded a deposit of CHF 4’000 if he/she decides to withdraw after the first semester or not registering at USI. Note the terms and conditions as stated.
The grant is varied depending on the amount of CHF a student’s pays per semester.
For the student recipient of the grant who paid the semester tuition fee of CHF 2’000:
They will have their fall semester fee being covered by the grant fully depending on nature of the grant.
He/she is required to pay a deposit of CHF 1’000 before the deadline as indicated in the admission letter to confirm the enrollment. However this amount will be refunded by the end of the fall semester.
The spring semester fee is wholly covered by the grant.
For the students who are recipients of the grand and have paid the semester tuition fee of CHF 4’000.
the student will have to pay the fall semester fee after each enrollment period.Students from EU/EFTA countries
They are required to pay a deposit of CHF 1’000 within the deadline as indicated in the admission letter so as to confirm the enrollment. They also have to pay a balance of CHF 3’000 by the time of formal registration;
Students coming from the non ‐EU/EFTA countries.
Students who have applied should make a payment of CHF 4’000 within the deadline as indicated in the admission letter is required to confirm the enrollment.
The spring semester fee is automatically covered by the grant right after each enrollment.
The grant cannot be renewed after expiry.
The grant cannot be undertaken with other scholarships provided by University Of Lugano
