Norway is well known country to so many international students for it’s completely tuition free university education and this gets the attention of so many prospective students who would love to study at a very good and excellent university without having to spend huge amounts of money on tuition.

Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU

NTNU is one of the universities in Norway that offers all students a distinguishable advantage over numerous other universities in Europe and North America: they collect a zero tuition fees from students. Nonetheless, students would have to sort out their own living expenses. Also, all international students who are not citizens or permanent residents of EU/EEA/EFTA countries must be able to provide proof that they have enough cash flow and funding source to live in Norway before they can be granted a student visa.

Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences

HiOA is a state owned university and they also do not charge tuition fees from students. This applies to both Norwegian citizens and also all international students. However, there is a fee mandated for every student which is the semester fee, this fee covers membership in the Student Welfare Organization, the use of printers etc.  The semester fee is currently NOK660 per semester. But there is an exemple for students who wishes to attend HiOA  as an exchange student , you are automatically exempt from any fees.

University of Nordland – formerly Bodø University College

University of Nordland does not require any student to pay tuition fees. However, the Norwegian Government requires that prospective students residents outside the European Union (EU) should be able to provide a minimum amount of money that could cover living expenses for one academic year in Norway. The recent amount of money that would be required to be transferred to University of Nordland is NOK 92 500 for the academic year.

University of Bergen

This is also a tuition free school in Norway, but students are required to pay a semester fee at the University of Bergen to the Student Welfare Organisation (SiB), currently NOK 480. The University of Bergen is a public institution and also does not require a tuition fees from students. This applies both to Norwegian and international students.

Bergen University College

Bergen University College provides a guarantee accommodation at SiB Student accommodation. This accommodation guarantee is only valid if you were able to apply within the 1st of May and 1st of November and if your chosen courses start at the beginning of the semester, in August and January.
